How It Works:
-
The person using the deck is urged to call 988 and to put away all implements of harm
-
After reading all instructions, the person turns away from the place they are having suicidal ideations
-
Holding the deck face-down, the person takes ones step, and flips the card over, follows the instructions and places the card back in the deck at random.

The cards will guide the person through various methods of grounding, visualizing, thought correcting, and sometimes even taking a few extra steps away
-
This process is repeated until breath is regained, thoughts are more centered, and the person is able to walk away or until the decision is made to call 988
-
This deck is a great addition to any safety plan and can always be available to the person who needs it, or even someone assisting them.
